Ingredients
6 PERDUE® HARVESTLAND® Fresh Ground Turkey Burgers
1 ripe mango, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup pineapple, chopped
1/4 cup red pepper, chopped
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
2 jalapenos, seeded and diced
2 tbsp lime juice
1/2 tsp salt
6 whole grain hamburger buns
1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
leaf lettuce
Instructions
1 Stir the mango with the pineapple, red pepper, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice and salt. Chill for 30 minutes before serving. Adjust salt to taste.
2 Prepare the turkey burgers according to package instructions. Arrange on buns with lettuce, salsa and feta.
3 Tips: Make this a low-carb option by serving over salad greens or with large lettuce leaves to act as wraps.
4 Salsa can be made up to 4 hours in advance.
5 Substitute papaya for the mango or pineapple.
