Ingredients
12 ounces PERDUE® Fresh Lean Ground Turkey (1 lb.)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups sweet onions, sliced
24 ounce hearty healthy marinara sauce (1 jar)
12 ounces whole wheat pasta, cooked
fresh parsley or basil, optional
parmesan cheese, optional
Instructions
1 In a large, non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and saute until tender (2-3 minutes). Stir in ground turkey and sauce and simmer for 2 minutes, until heated through.

TIP: Variations: Add 3-4 cups arugula or spinach just before serving. Add 1 can drained and rinsed white beans to the turkey and sauce. Mix in 2 cups sauteed wild mushrooms with chopped fresh herbs for topping pasta or rice. Use as a filling for lasagna.
2 Toss hot turkey pasta sauce with cooked, hot pasta. Finish with parsley or basil and cheese to garnish, if desired.
