Ingredients

2 tbsp. olive oil

1 cup orange juice

2 tbsp. brown sugar

2 tbsp. honey

1 tbsp. cider or white wine vinegar

Step

Warm olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.

Step

Stir in orange juice, brown sugar, honey and vinegar. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until sauce has thickened lightly for 6 to 8 minutes and meat thermometer inserted in center registers 170°F.

Step

To serve, set chicken on plates and spoon sauce on top.

Reall yummy recipe AND SO EASY.. I WANTED TO GIVE FIVE STARS. I have a bunch of oranges. I wanted to make a recipe with chicken AND ORANGES. TOO MANY RECIPES I FOUND USE A LOT OF BROWN SUGAR/HIONEY. I DIDN'T WANT THAT MUCH SUGAR. THIS RECIPE TASTED GREAT WITH A MUCH SMALLER AMOUNT OF SUGAR/HONEY. I DID USE THIGHS INSTEAD OF BREAST AND I REALLY BROWNED THE CHICKEN SKIN BEFORE SETTING ASIDE AND MAKING THE SAUCE. I WILL DEFINITELY MAKE AGAIN--I THINK I MAY ADD A TOUCH OF FRESH GINGER.

I recall making orange glaazed chicken dueing y younger years. It was a microwave recipe. I no longer cook that way.
