1 pkg. PERDUE® Chicken Drumsticks
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon curry powder (or to taste)
No-stick cooking spray
1 cup Texmati rice
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 can chicken broth
1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
2 In a medium nonstick skillet, brown drumsticks; about 2 minutes before removing from pan, sprinkle salt and curry powder over drumsticks.
3 Meanwhile, spray a 2-quart round or oval casserole dish with no-stick spray. Add rice and pepper; blend well. Pour in chicken broth.
4 When drumsticks are browned, lay them in a single layer across rice mixture. Cover and bake 35 minutes, or until rice is cooked and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 180°F.
