3/4 cuppart-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/4 cupparmesan or asiago cheese, shredded

1 teaspooncracked black pepper

1 cupreduced-sodium pasta sauce, hot

2 cupsprepared couscous or whole wheat pasta, optional


Step 1

Place PERDUE® SIMPLY SMART® Lightly Breaded Chicken Filets on a baking sheet and heat until crisp, according to package instructions.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine mozzarella, parmesan and cracked black pepper and toss together until mixed.

Step 3

Top each crisp, heated chicken filet with 1/4 cup prepared pasta sauce and 1/4 cup cheese mixture. Return to oven and heat for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Step 4

Place each chicken parmesan on top of 1/2 cup hot couscous or whole wheat pasta, if desired. Serve immediately.
