Ingredients
1 package PERDUE® Fresh Lean Ground Turkey (alternate: PERDUE® Fresh Ground Chicken) 2 cans (15 ounces) Great Northern White beans, rinsed and drained 1/2 cup canned carrot coins, rinsed and drained 1 can (15 ounces) cream of chicken soup, plus one can of milk as soup directs 1 can (15 ounces) can chicken broth 4 slices bacon, chopped 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- In large pot on high heat, brown ground turkey on all sides for about 7 minutes, breaking it up into small pieces with a slotted spoon. Remove turkey from pot and drain.
- Turn heat to medium-high and add white beans and carrots; brown them, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes.
- Add cream of chicken soup, milk and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, stirring well; turn heat to low.
- Return turkey and bacon to pot; add bacon and thyme and stir. Cook on low-heat to warm throughout and then serve. If desired, immediately cover, refrigerate and reheat up to three days later.
