Ingredients
1 package PERDUE® FIT & EASY® Fresh Ground Turkey Breast (alternate: PERDUE® FIT & EASY® Fresh Ground Chicken Filet of Breast Meat) 1 package PERDUE® Lean Turkey Sausage Links, Sweet Italian 1 can (10 ounces) low-fat cream of mushroom soup 1 1/2 cups dry breadcrumbs 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/3 cup onion, chopped 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup prepared honey barbecue sauce 1/3 cup water 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes 1 can (4 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
Instructions
- Preheat oven 400°F. Remove sausage from casings.
- In large bowl, combine ground turkey, sausage, 1/2 can of soup, breadcrumbs, egg, onion and salt and mix well. Shape into loaf and place in shallow baking dish.
- Place in hot oven and bake 1 hour. During last 15 minutes of cooking, baste meatloaf with barbecue sauce.
- Just before serving, combine remaining 1/2 can of soup, water, onion flakes, mushrooms and 2-3 tablespoons pan drippings in a saucepan. Heat mixture, stirring occasionally, until it is warmed through and has consistency of gravy.
- Serve with meatloaf. Serve with packaged French-fried onion rings, if desired.
