Ingredients

1 package PERDUE® Fresh Turkey Drumsticks
1/3 cup lime juice
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 Shallot, quartered
1 Jalepenó chile, seeded*
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt

 

Instructions
  1. Preheat grill or broiler.
  2. In blender, combine all ingredients except turkey and process until smooth.
  3. Grill turkey, turning occasionally and basting with sauce, 35 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in thickest part of drumstick registers 180°F. Note: Do not baste during last 5 minutes of grilling.

* For heat lovers, you can leave the seeds in or experiment substituting hotter chilies such as haba ero or Scotch bonnet.
