Ingredients
1 package PERDUE® Fresh Turkey Drumsticks 1/3 cup lime juice 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 Shallot, quartered 1 Jalepenó chile, seeded* 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat grill or broiler.
- In blender, combine all ingredients except turkey and process until smooth.
- Grill turkey, turning occasionally and basting with sauce, 35 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in thickest part of drumstick registers 180°F. Note: Do not baste during last 5 minutes of grilling.
* For heat lovers, you can leave the seeds in or experiment substituting hotter chilies such as haba ero or Scotch bonnet.
