Ingredients
2 cups finely diced, cooked PERDUE® Turkey 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 2 tablespoons mango chutney 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon curry powder 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper Ground red pepper (optional) 4 sheets phyllo dough (12 x 17 inches each) 8 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In medium bowl, combine turkey, mayonnaise, chutney, lemon juice, salt, curry powder, black pepper and red pepper to taste; set aside.
- Place 1 sheet phyllo dough on flat surface; brush generously with butter. Top with second sheet of phyllo; brush with butter. (Keep remaining sheets covered with plastic wrap and damp kitchen towel until needed.) With sharp knife, divide pastry into 20 3-inch squares. Place 1 rounded measuring teaspoon of filling in each square.
- Lift corners of each phyllo square to meet in center; twist firmly, creating a purse or pouch. Brush purses with butter. Repeat procedure with remaining phyllo and filling.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
