2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons Chinese black bean and garlic sauce
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 pound asparagus, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 yellow onion, thinly sliced
1/2 red bell pepper, diced
3/4 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 red japaleno chili pepper, seeded and chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch, mixed with 2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon oyster sauce (optional)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
