1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped celery
3 dried pears, plumped in 1/2 cup warm white wine for 1/2 hour
4 cups bread cubes
1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
2 lightly beaten eggs
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon orange peel, orange part only
Salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste
