   Alternate Perdue Products:
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce, divided
2/3 cup finely chopped onion
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard


  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.  In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients except the mustard and 1/2 cup of the tomato sauce.  Mix well.  Shape into a loaf and place in shallow baking dish.
  2. Spread mustard over top of meatloaf and bake for 80 to 90 minutes, or until meat thermometer inserted in center registers 170° F.  During last 20 minutes of baking, baste meatloaf with remaining 1/2 cup tomato sauce.  Allow to stand at room temperature for 5 minutes before slicing.

This is great with chicken! had to add more breadcrumbs and even some flour though because the mixture was too loose. I'm fine with the info being given in grams, because that's how it is given on store products. ^_^
