1 jar spaghetti sauce (26 ounces)
1 cup sliced mushrooms, (optional)
8 ounces spaghetti
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


  1. Combine meatballs, spaghetti sauce and mushrooms in medium saucepan. Simmer for 15-20 minutes; stirring occasionally.
  2. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti as directed on package; drain. Serve meatballs with sauce over spaghetti.
  3. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

I felt like a liar when I served this meal to my husband who insisted that these meatballs had to have been homemade. Reluctantly, I confessed and admitted that they were fully prepared and from Perdue. Of course, now he would like them as often as possible. You can "dress up" the spaghetti sauce if you wish by adding diced canned tomatoes, green pepper and fresh or canned mushrooms to make a heartier sauce but the meatballs are delicately and perfectly seasoned. Add a fresh green salad and some garlic bread and dinner is ready in a jiffy!
