8 cups torn Romaine lettuce
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/2 cup Caesar salad dressing
1/2 cup coarsely shredded Parmesan cheese
Freshly ground pepper and crispy croutons, optional


  1. Lightly toss the lettuce, chicken, and bell pepper in a large bowl.  Add the dressing; toss just until evenly coated.
  2. Serve on salad plates.  Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.  Also sprinkle with pepper and top with croutons, if desired.
