In shallow bowl, combine lemon juice, oil, garlic, pepper and salt. Add chicken to marinade, turning to coat both sides. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 1 hour or longer.
Preheat broiler. Drain chicken, reserving marinade. In a small saucepan, bring marinade to a boil.
Broil 6 to 8 inches from heat source 6 to 8 minutes on each side until meat thermometer inserted in center registers 170ºF. During cooking turn chicken 2 or 3 times, brushing with boiled marinade.
To serve, garnish with lemon wedges.

Many years ago, a local supermarket was giving away samples of this chicken, along with a recipe from Perdue chicken. It was delicious! I made it many, many times, often grilling it. Well, I lost that recipe card when I moved. I could remember the ingredients, but not the measurements. I was happy to find the recipe today and it looks the same...except for one thing. Where are the red pepper flakes? That's what gives it the "diablo"! I would guess about 1/2 tsp. Try this recipe, it is so good. Try it as kabobs and serve over rice. But don't forget the red pepper flakes!!
Note from Webmaster: The missing ingredient has been added. Thank you.
