   Alternate Perdue Products:
1/2 cup Ricotta cheese
1 cup fresh spinach, thinly sliced
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Mozzarella cheese, part-skim
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Asiago cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
Fresh pizza dough (found in refrigerated or freezer section of your grocery store)


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Divide dough into 4 equal pieces. Press or roll dough onto a circle on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  3. Slice sausages into 1/4 –inch pieces. Top dough evenly with Ricotta cheese, spinach, sliced sausage, Mozzarella and Asiago cheeses. Sprinkle with seasoning.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Ingredients
1 package PERDUE® Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage
16 ounces fresh pizza dough or other yeast bread dough, defrosted, if necessary
½ cup marinara sauce
8 ounces fresh cherry-sized Mozzarella cheese balls (Alternate: 1-8 ounce fresh Mozzarella ball)
12-16 fresh basil leaves

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Divide dough into 4 equal pieces. Press or roll dough into a circle on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
3. Slice sausages into ¼-inch pieces. Top dough evenly with sauce, sausage and cheese.
4. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted. Remove from oven and top with basil leaves.


Serving Suggestion #3
Ingredients
1 package PERDUE® Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups onion, thinly sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
16 ounces fresh pizza dough or other yeast bread dough, defrosted, if necessary
1/4 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
4 ounces Goat cheese, crumbled
4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes, optional

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic; cook 10-15 minutes until soft and golden brown, stirring frequently. Amount will shrink in half. Stir in Italian seasoning.
3. Divide dough into 4 equal pieces. Press or roll dough into a circle on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
4. Slice sausages into ¼-inch pieces. Top dough evenly with caramelized onions, sausage, Goat cheese, Parmesan cheese.
5. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until crust is golden. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with red pepper flakes, if desired.
