1/2 cup prepared barbecue sauce
1/4 cup water*
4 Kaiser or hamburger rolls or garlic bread heated and cut into 4 inch portions
Optional toppings: onions, pickles, coleslaw


  1. In medium saucepan, heat chicken, barbecue sauce and water over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until heated through.
  2. Spoon chicken mixture over roll bottoms.
  3. Top each sandwich with roll top.  Add additional toppings, if desired.

*For a “sweet and smoky” barbecue sandwich, substitute orange juice for the water.
