The Perdue Environmental Steering Committee

While we’re proud of our environmental record and accomplishments as a company, we’re focused on bringing our long-standing respect for the environment into a formal, companywide environmental sustainability program. To that end, we’ve formed the Perdue Environmental Steering Committee, a cross-functional team that includes Perdue Farms, our food products business, and Perdue AgriBusiness, with representation from environmental services, research and development and every aspect of our supply chain.

The steering committee is creating a formal structure to measure, track and report on environmental efforts across the company, with an initial focus on measuring our company’s carbon footprint and benchmarking our environmental efforts against world-class standards. The steering committee’s efforts are helping define the future of our environmental sustainability efforts.
