10+ years of consumer food marketing experience required; poultry products a plus. 10+ years of food marketing. 10+ years of product launch experience. Ability to develop marketing and operating plans with minimal assistance, includes interaction with functional groups and agencies to build all elements (e.g. consumer insights, implications, brand positioning, go to market strategy, media, consumer & trade promotion plans, selling materials, etc). Solid knowledge of new product process from idea to shelf across all channels. Understand consumer and customer insights and can develop into ‘go to market’ plans (including sales/trade communication, selling strategy & materials). Solid experience in stage gate process, approvals and timeline to manage projects in an efficient and timely manner. Must work well with internal and external teams (e.g. R&D, agencies, sales, copackers, etc.). Demonstrate leadership and maturity, and interact effectively within all levels of the organization to gain agreement and resolution, sell ideas and gain trust internally and externally, professional under pressure, comfortable around senior management to express opinions/ideas, strong oral and written communication skills. Able to access and analyze appropriate data, can distill into meaningful insights and recommendations. Can create a longer term vision and translate into a viable and well thought strategic, marketing and operating plan. Demonstrate insights and opportunities to leverage strategic partners and acquisitions. *cbr* |
