Ingredients
6 PERDUE® Fresh Chicken Drumsticks 1 teaspoon chili powder 2 teaspoons garlic salt 1/4 cup brown sugar (loosely packed) 2 teaspoons onion salt 1 tablespoon paprika
Instructions
- In a large, shallow bowl, mix chili powder, garlic salt, brown sugar, onion salt and paprika; set aside.
- Carefully roll skin back from drumsticks, but do not remove. Roll drumstick meat in dry rub mixture, being sure to get a generous amount onto the meat. Pull skin back over drumstick. Repeat with each leg, until all of the rub is used. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
- Grill drumsticks indirectly with medium high heat, with grill covered. Cook for 30 to 40 minutes, turning occasionally until juices run clear and a meat thermometer reaches 180°F when inserted into the thickest part of the drumsticks.
