Ingredients
4 PERDUE® Fresh Ground Turkey Patties (alternate: PERDUE® Fresh Ground Chicken Patties) Vegetable cooking spray 2 teaspoons caraway seeds, divided 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper 1 can sauerkraut (preferably reduced sodium), drained (4 ounces) 4 slices Muenster cheese 2 tablespoons prepared Russian dressing 8 slices rye, lightly toasted
Instructions
- Preheat broiler.
- Generously spray broiler with cooking spray.
- Press 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds into top of each burger; sprinkle with pepper.
- Broil burgers 4 to 5 inches from heat source 2 1/2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until they are thoroughly cooked and spring back to the touch.
- Top burgers with sauerkraut and cheese; broil about 1 minute longer, or until cheese melts.
- To serve, spread Russian dressing on rye toast; place burgers on top.
