Ingredients
1 package PERDUE® SHORT CUTS® Carved Chicken Breast, Grilled Italian Style, 6 oz. 4 (6-inch) sub rolls 1/4 cup soft goat cheese 1 small tomato, thinly sliced 1 cup fresh basil leaves
Preparation Steps
- Slice rolls lengthwise. Toast open-faced under the broiler for 1 minute, or in a toaster oven.
- Spread insides of each roll with goat cheese, and layer with tomato slices, basil leaves and chicken.
- Heat large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grill sandwiches until lightly browned on one side; turn and grill until lightly browned on other side. Repeat with other sandwiches. Serve.
Note
To prevent sticking you may lightly oil the griddle or brush the outside of the sub roll with olive oil.
