Ingredients
4 PERDUE® Fresh Ground Turkey Patties 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder, divided 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper, divided 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons olive oil 3 scallions, sliced 1 can (17 ounces) corn with peppers, undrained 1 can (4 ounces) diced mild green chilies, undrained
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° F.
- On dinner plate, combine cornmeal, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper and salt. Coat burgers with cornmeal mixture.
- Grease large nonstick skillet with oil and place over medium to high heat. Add burgers; cook about 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove to baking sheet; cook in oven about 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, add scallions to same skillet; cook 1 to 2 minutes, or until soft. Add corn, chilies and remaining chili powder and ground red pepper. Cook 1 to 2 minutes longer, or until vegetables are heated through.
- To serve, spoon corn mixture over burgers.
