Ingredients
1 package PERDUE® FIT & EASY® Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts 1 tablespoon olive oil 3/4 cup white wine 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon butter (alternate: margarine) 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley 1 tablespoon minced fresh thyme 1 teaspoon lemon pepper 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large, preferably non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken; cook 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until cooked through. Remove to platter and keep warm.
- Add wine, lemon juice and brown sugar to skillet. Bring to a simmer, and cook 3 to 4 minutes, until sauce is reduced by half. Swirl in butter or margarine, desired herb, lemon pepper and salt.
- Spoon sauce over chicken and serve.
Note
Parsley and thyme can be substituted with 2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary.
