Ingredients

1 package PERDUE® FIT & EASY® Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
3/4 cup white wine
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter (alternate: margarine)
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
1 tablespoon minced fresh thyme
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt

 

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a large, preferably non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken; cook 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until cooked through. Remove to platter and keep warm.
  3. Add wine, lemon juice and brown sugar to skillet. Bring to a simmer, and cook 3 to 4 minutes, until sauce is reduced by half. Swirl in butter or margarine, desired herb, lemon pepper and salt.
  4. Spoon sauce over chicken and serve.

 

Note

Parsley and thyme can be substituted with 2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary.
