Ingredients
1 package PERDUE® Lean Turkey Sausage Links, Sweet Italian 8 ounces bow tie pasta 2 onions, cut into wedges 2 red and/or yellow bell peppers, cut into thick strips 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided (alternate: vegetable oil) Salt and ground pepper to taste 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 1/4 cup packed fresh basil leaves, cut into strips
Instructions
- Preheat grill or broiler.
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine onions, bell peppers, 2 tablespoons oil, salt and ground pepper and toss until evenly coated.
- Grill or broil sausage, turning occasionally, 15 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in center registers 165°F; remove and cut diagonally into 1-inch pieces.
- Grill vegetable mixture in grill wok or on grill screen, stirring occasionally, until tender.
- To serve, in large bowl, combine cooked pasta, sausage, vegetables, remaining 2 tablespoons oil, vinegar and basil and toss until evenly coated.
