Ingredients
1 cup diced, cooked PERDUE® chicken meat
1 bag (8-10 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables
1 can (10 ounces) cream of celery soup
1 cup water
1 1/4 cups baking mix (enough to make four biscuits)
3 tablespoons fresh chopped basil
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/3 cup milk
Instructions
- In saucepan over medium-high heat, combine vegetables, cream of celery soup and water. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are hot. Add chicken and heat through. Pour mixture into 2-quart shallow casserole dish.
- Combine baking mix with basil and lemon zest. Add milk and stir to form dough. Drop 5-6 large spoonfuls of dough onto casserole.
- Bake in preheated 450° oven for 8 -10 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and casserole is heated through.
