Ingredients

1 package PERDUE® Baked Breaded Chicken Breast Tenderloins
1 can (16 ounces) extra large refrigerated biscuits
4 slices American cheese, each cut in half
Dipping sauces (optional)

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.   Remove dough from can and separate into 8 pieces.  Place biscuits several inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Flatten each biscuit with palm of hand
  2. Place one strip of cheese and one tender in center of each biscuit.  Wrap dough partially around tender to enclose leaving top of tender showing.  Press edges of dough firmly together to seal.
  3. Bake for 15 –18 minutes or until golden brown.  Let stand 1 minute before serving. Serve with favorite dipping sauces, if desired.

Chicks in a Blanket

Pigs in the blankets, but never 'chicks' in a blanket. Whoever thought of this, is simply a genius. I bow to thee...

These were so yummy! With 3 kids in sports I'm always looking for something quick and easy to put together so we can eat as a family before whatever event we have that night. I used mozz. cheese in place of american, I also sprinkled a little parm. cheese over the chicken before I sealed the bisquet... and because my husband "likes it hot", I sprinkled hot pepper flakes in a couple... my family said this one's a keeper!
Thanks for recipe!

Delicious, and totally adaptable!

We tried these last week and they were amazing. Easy and quick to prepare, crispy buttery and cheesy when dinner time rolled around.

BUT if you want to try a delicious alternative, sub mozzerella cheese for the american cheese, pick the ITALIAN STYLE baked breaded chicken, and pour tomato sauce on top.

Voila! Parmagiana Chicks in a Blanket!

Try this one out for sure!
