Ingredients
1 package PERDUE® SHORT CUTS® Carved Chicken Breast, Honey Roasted, 6 oz. 2 tablespoons butter (alternate: or margarine) 1 cup thinly sliced fresh white mushrooms 1 cup thinly sliced fresh asparagus 1/2 cup thinly sliced scallions 2 packages (.87 ounces each) chicken gravy mix 2 1/2 cups low-fat milk 2 teaspoons dry sherry 1 teaspoon dry mustard Dash of cayenne pepper 1 tablespoon minced parsley
Preparation Steps
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, melt butter. Add mushrooms, asparagus and scallions and sauté 2 minutes. Add chicken; continue sautéing for 2 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in medium saucepan empty chicken gravy mix. Add milk, sherry, mustard and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.
- Add cooked chicken mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes until hot & bubbling. Stir in parsley and serve over noodles, if desired.
