Ingredients

2 PERDUE® Fresh Whole Cornish Hens
1/2 cup apricot preserves
1/2 cup your favorite barbecue sauce

 

Instructions
  1. Preheat grill or broiler. Split hens in half lengthwise.
  2. Grill or broil hens, skin-side up, 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine preserves and barbecue sauce until blended.
  4. Grill hens, turning occasionally and basting with barbecue sauce, an additional 20 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in thickest part of thigh registers 180°F.

 

Note

Do not baste during the last 5 minutes of grilling.
