Ingredients
2 PERDUE® Fresh Whole Cornish Hens 1/2 cup apricot preserves 1/2 cup your favorite barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat grill or broiler. Split hens in half lengthwise.
- Grill or broil hens, skin-side up, 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine preserves and barbecue sauce until blended.
- Grill hens, turning occasionally and basting with barbecue sauce, an additional 20 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in thickest part of thigh registers 180°F.
Note
Do not baste during the last 5 minutes of grilling.
